The foreign visitor needs to prove his purpose with a ‘letter of invitation’ from the Canadian host (family member/ friends/ institution, etc). Few requirements for getting a TRV are:

→ Sufficient funds to cover the duration of the stay and return
→ Letter of Invitation from the Canadian host
→ Be in good health
→ Proof of intention to leave Canada at the end of the visit
→ Medical and security examination if required
→ Biometric information for citizens of few countries

Visitor’s Visa: visitor’s visa is a great application to apply for if you are looking to visit your family for less than 6 months in Canada. A valid visitor’s visa is valid for up to 10 years and allows multiple entries in most cases.
Supervisa: supervisa is the application that is used to visit your children and grandchildren in Canada. Supervisa allows the visa holder to stay with their family in Canada for up to 24 months.
